Current position:

A.Y. 2023-24: Research Fellow, Luigi Einaudi Foundation, Turin. Project title: Editing a Free Africa and a Desegregated World: The Transnational Antiracist Press and Imperial Censorship in the African Continent and Diaspora, 1910s-40s.

 

Education:

November 2020-January 2024: PhD in Global Histories, Cultures and Politics at the University of Bologna, Department of History and Cultures. Research project in Contemporary history, title: Print Cultures as Political Networks: The Circulation of Anticolonial and Antiracist Periodicals in Africa and the African Diaspora, 1910s-1930s, supervised by Prof. Paolo Capuzzo. Final grade: Excellent cum laude.

  • June 2023-July 2023: William P. Heidrich Research Fellow at the University of Michigan.
  • January 2023-February 2023: Visiting PhD at the Université Mohammed V de Rabat, Dept. of English, supervised by Prof. Nourdin Bejjit.
  • November 2022-December 2022: Visiting International Affiliate at the University of Cape Town, Dept. of English.
